About Me
Alexis Grenier has been singing professionally since the age of eight, performing for the San Diego Padres, the Chargers and the Gulls, as well as on TV and the radio before the age of ten. She performed with various bands throughout high school and is no stranger to the recording studio! In college, Alexis decided to study classically under the tutelage of professor of singing, Marlene Rosen. She received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Opera from the prestigious Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio.
Since graduating in 2008, Alexis has returned to her native San Diego, California. She currently sings backup for the Laura Roppé Band who had the opportunity to open for Travis Tritt in 2010. Alexis has also come back to one of her first loves, musical theatre, performing with Moonlight and Starlight Theatres thus far and hopes to do many more shows in the area.
Alexis especially enjoys hosting on camera and acting as well. She has done an abundance of “extra work” and has appeared in commercials for Shakeweight, Jerome’s Furniture, Valley View Casino, Home Town Buffet, Iceoplex and Disco Abs. Alexis played the title character in an online show pilot, entitled Jenn 2.0 as well as hosted the pilot for her original show idea, Travel Notes.
