Something Else you should know….

So if you know me already, you know that I am a renaissance woman. Besides singing, acting and dancing, I am also a professional wedding videographer. My mother started her own business “Classic Filmworks” about 10 years ago and continues to impress me with her beautiful editing/shooting skills. While I was working on this new blog, my mother Nan was working on her evolving blog where you can preview snippets from weddings and business profiles. If you ever need a professional videographer….keep us in mind!

Laura Roppe’s New CD!

My extremely talented friend, Laura Roppe’s newest album has hit the charts!! I was lucky enough to sing some backup work on the album entitled, “I’m Still Here.”  In one week, she climbed from No. 12 all the way to No. 6 on the Billboard “Uncharted” chart, a tracking of emerging artists! …In the Studio!

I’m excited to say that 2011 promises new exciting projects and opportunities! This month I will begin recording my commercial demo with the immensely talented Matt Embree of “Rx Bandits.” It will consist of television jingles and 10 snippets of songs in varying genres! I have quite a task ahead of me but I am excited to finally get it done!

WOOT! Here is my first episode of The Brass Show! I will be hosting this financial web magazine for young adults twice a month! “Brass” Magazine from which the web show came, is located out of Corvallis, Oregon and seeks to enlighten teens and young adults in the world of business in a simple, fun way!

Bicycle for a discount!

That’s a wrap! Just got done shooting a commercial promoting bicycling instead of driving to your local business. I played the snide waitress and did my best not to laugh when a grown man pretended that a little girl’s Barbie bike was his own just to get the discount! Keep an eye out for the finished product.

We shot the commercial at a really cool bistro in North Park called Sea Rocket Bistro! It’s got cardboard sharks and egg crates hanging from the ceiling and the menu looks incredible! Check it out!
